I didn't get nearly as much time to write and read today as I wanted. But I did manage to do 1 video blog and create a music video for m song "Energy Crunch":
<lj-embed id="1" />
This is a song I improvised (musically) and created spontaneous melody/lyrics from reading a 1981 National Geographic "Special Energy Issue" that talked about how we needed to change our ways in order to avoid an energy crunch. No wonder people stopped paying attention to all the dire warnings... it's sad because if we had started then, we wouldn't be where we are right now, sliding into the dark abyss of post-petroleum human civilization. I wonder what they felt like on Easter Island when they finally cut down the last tree? Or, did it simply die of loneliness?
